ha well two things - no, that's not what I meant, but I suspect we have enough backs, whereas if we signed Bird he would have likely played lock.
I suspect Gutho will go to centre, a new winger will play wing, and Taka will play a bench util role.

i think he means that with Moses playing in the halves Gutho can play in the backs meaning we don't need a winger as we are covered for outside back, but if Bird signed we would most likely have him at lock and Gutho still at 6 meaning we will still be a outside back short with Semi moving on.

Hmmmm ... but Taka aint no winger ... and jenkovic aint likely to end up on the wing .... of course Taka can go bench ... so Avaua on wing maybe???

What do you think of Gutho to FB and French to the wing?
If we got Moses for THIS season then that is the play I would probably go for (but I'm not coach either!). Essentially it is making the question one of Taka or Hoffman.
I also admit to being quite the fan of Auva'a when he was a bunny. Can't help but think he would figure prominently in the outside backs if he regains form - absolute brute defensively and more than handy in attack.

My only concern with that is probably the fact that both Guth and Bevo are on the slighter/slender side and we'd lose a bit in terms of decent carries coming our of our own end...

If we end up with Moses this season, I would be putting Guth to right centre leaving Bev at fullback. Hoffman hasn't been great, but he hasn't been awful either IMO. Taka would offer decent coverage on the bench for a range of positions but there's no place for him there either when Edwards comes back, I don't see them both on the bench when you've got Brown as well. A bench of Taka, Kenny, Brown and Vave ain't going to fly I don't think. So I guess what I'm saying is - if we gwt Moses for this year, Taka could be back in Wenty, but who knows, we'll need to see Kenny hit the ground running when he comes back....

I mean they are already done AND several of their names have been correctly floated throughout social media.

Nufoaluma isn't done, and I suspect he was more of a target if we secured Jack Bird. Now with Moses I suspect he won't be pursued (unless something changes dramatically) as we don't need another winger now.

Peats also isn't done either. Apparently Paul Kent confirmed Kane Evans is done last night on NRL 360? I didn't see it though.

So you reckon we've signed 4 players and Peats and Norfaluma aren't part of that?

Beau Scott should stay in the middle. I think he is slower than last year and would get burnt on the edges.

I Think it will happen but not til after we play them on Easter Monday, may even happen the week before but which the condition he doesn't play that game.

Yeah they could release him next Wednesday which would mean he isn't named in our team lists therefore can't play. Unless we name him in the hope of the Tigers releasing him?
