I don't consider that a dramatic rule change. Pretty basic.
Your idea of adding that the scoring team does receive the kick off, but only if they decline the conversion, is a good twist.

You got to have a twist. Give the coaches a decision and make them think a little more. If we have ideas like this the coach becomes more important in the game.

How about if you get over the line but held up you get 3 points and have to kick off?
That would be a good one. You would have to think about crash plays.

I like the idea of not fking with the game. It seems to be working pretty well.
It is in a lot better position than it was 5 years ago precisely because we got a leader in who is innovative as heck, including the 6 again penalty rule he brought in mid season. Lets keep that up.

I don’t think it needs to be altered any further. The product is near enough perfect.

Scorer’s kick was around during the Super League, was rubbish then. No need for it now.

Pezet is expected to start in the halves for the blue and golds alongside Mitchell Moses, with the Melbourne duo that the 22-year-old couldn’t get past, Cameron Munster and Jahrome Hughes, standing in his way.

The match will also prove as the perfect litmus test to assess Parramatta’s improvement under second-year coach Jason Ryles — a former Storm assistant.

The Eels were embarrassed 56-18 by the Storm in round one last season at AAMI Park.
