Exactly. You said we should have players playing origin. Origin should not be a factor when determining how good a player is. Sure it's good for players to make Origin and they have to be impressing someone but there are selections that could be seen as political.

Taking positions out of it and just looking at numbers of players, there has been 102 NSW Origin debutants since Hindmarsh in 2001.

Of these 102, 7 made their FG debut for Parramatta which is not bad considering our dismal squads during a lot of that time. Powerhouse clubs like Manly and Penrith had 8 each while St George had 12.

Sure, he haven't had a second rower since Ryan and Hindmarsh, but we have provided our fair share of players all things considered.

Sadly, I reckon if he stayed with us, T-Rex's career would be over by now. I say he would have been a fringe nrl player!!

Possibly but I don't think it would've ended on the wing & TBH I don't reckon he would have lost his career. He still wouldn't have hit & run over people like someone his stature would be capable of but still be playing 1st grade
