If Niaukore doesn't play this week I lost all faith in BA period.

But i give him 85% chance to play.BA isnt that stupid to run with the same shit.

Which edge player should he replace?

I thought our problem was the front row?

Niukore is a decent talent, but we're in a situation where his path is somewhat blocked. Moeroa, Ma'u have hit form and Edwards is always good, and Gower has been outstanding as an edge/middle hybrid. I wouldn't want any of them dropped for Niukore.

Watching Manly Roosters yesterday BTW and f**k me, if Manly's Tom T isn't one of the most over rated players in the comp I'll eat my hat!

The bloke is AVERAGE. Another one I pray they do not pick for NSW.

Actually that's not hard.
Drop Penishands and move the Chairman or Moeroa to 13 and start Marauder on the available edge.

Sounds like another excuse.

Is it? Or are you just parroting Ram and his completely ignorant idea that there is no such thing as a genuine reason for failure?

Success is all about stability, in the end. We haven't had that for decades.

Take off the Eels fan hat for a moment and look at it objectively. Compare us to the Tigers, who had their board sacked and replaced in 2014. They've struggled and even this season, four years later, were forced to pay big overs for mediocre players despite everything looking up for them. 500k plus for Russell Packer, who is basically performing at a lower level than Daniel Alvaro, is insane IMO. The money they paid for Josh Reynolds is mental, and they gave Matulino (a reject coaches reject) big money too.

As a player, would you want to go to a club with a history of instability and drama if you had another choice? As a business owner, would you want to be throwing TPAs at a club with our history right now?

Like it or not, it is a huge consideration for our football side. Footy is a business these days, and we've been bad business for ages now.

Hayne replaced Radradra. And our biggest middle forward has been in reserve grade all year working on his fitness you f**king idiot. Evans needs to do the same but he is injured.

Oh I didn't realise that Hayne could bulldoze defenses like Radrada could. I must have missed that in all these years.

You pelican. Get back into your cave.As for Evens, by his own admission he has been crap. And who is this biggest forward that you speak of? And why is he so unfit? Can't be much chop as a player.

I could go with that. I thought Ma'u was good when he played time in the middle.

I was more asking hindy for a solution. I'm so sick of posts around here that say "we MUST do this" but offer nothing further.

TBH I'm not sure Niukore is good enough to warrant the massive push for his selection right now. But if I had to fit him in I'd probably start Gower in the 13, drop Penishands and bring Niukore in on the bench. Shift Ma'u when he comes on, like we did a few weeks back. I liked Tep solely on the edge this week.

Once Brown comes back, though, I genuinely don't see a spot for Marata unless he outperforms Edwards.

The same thing that happened to the Tigers so far this season. Players like Brown and Gutherson, who were relative bargain buys, kicked on hugely. Matagi and Vave were really good backing up the rest of the pack last year too, which they clearly haven't been this season.

Last year we showed the base of a good squad and we surprised a lot of teams with our attitude and our guts. It's not luck (although we undeniably did get lucky when we signed Moses and then nabbed him mid-season to top it off), it's astute buying. The problem now is attracting the real top shelf talent that takes you from a good squad to a really good squad. That's a lot tougher than people seem to think.

Paulo is a great start. You know I've been saying we need a quality hooker. We might even get lucky in that regard with Segeyaro potentially looking for a starting gig and the Sharks having another Brailey brother, or Koroisau being off contract and Manly having their issues.

If we can get NAS for 2020 as rumoured, jeez we'll have the makings of a top squad.

Hayne have his best 20 or mins this year when he played on the wing before he was injured.

FYI our biggest forward is Vave

To compare us to a team that has just put in a quality coach for the first time in like what ten years and he is in his first year and they are by the way ahead of us, to a coach that is in his 5th season, is playing silly buggers with logic and the truth. These overpaid reject are still ahead of us on the ladder. Just saying.

And yes, I have no tolerance for excuses anymore after decades of crap from every angle in regards the the management of our club.

My tolerance is down to zero. Hence why I don't listen to excuses anymore. If we start to win titles again, big if in my lifetime, I may begin to excuse the odd cockup here and there, but until and if that ever happens...no excuse.

The problem is you see every opposing view as an "excuse". Which means you're just an angry twat without any concept of the real issues.

We have been run in to the ground. That's a fact, whether or not you choose to acknowledge it.

Didn't say he didn't. But if you expect him to ruck it out like Semi did to get us on the front foot, then your dreaming. I like Hayne and what he can bring to the team when in form, but a powerful rucker out of your red zone he is not. So who did BA think was going to make those metres, especially considering that Hayne wasn't necessarily going to play on the wing anyway?

Obviously you can't comprehend to well since that is exactly what I have been saying for years. I have just had a gut full of it and yes I am angry about it. But to suggest that I don't understand the issues, is you just being a dumbarse bully. I just like to whinge about the issues as much as I like. I point them out constantly. Just because you don't like it isn't my problem.

Freedom of speech and all of that BULLY.

Agree BA should have replaced the best player in the world with the 2nd best. FFS.

Hayne can ruck it out ok.

Anyhow, ok let’s assume BA as per your opinion should have replaced Semi, who would you have purchased to replace Semi?
