That’s the thing though, last year and early this year when you recruit for the 2018 squad. We didn’t have any problems to solve, we lost the best winger in the comp and we couldn’t replace him with better as it was impossible.
Hayne was signed cheap and we had Auva’a finish the year strong. And also had Gennings training very well.

BA isn’t the problem, the problem is the players.
Believed their own pre season hype and raced out of the gates against Penrith and thought this is easy. We didn’t want to roll the sleeves up and expected it gifted to us. It’s attitude and that’s what it comes down to.
If we had a forward pack full of Gowers and 7 Guthos as the backline we would be on top of the comp.
Unfortunately not all the boys have that attitude.
Just the players???

Not our pack being too small to compete???

Not our mind numbing boring playing style 5 hit ups and a mid field bomb???

Not to mention our lack of discipline and footy smarts which is something we apparently worked on in the off season. No it’s not all Ba’s fault and some players need a rocket but to just say it’s all the players fault and their attitude is absolute horseshit.

Mate, we’ve got the best running style in the league

When did he get injured in round 1??? Or 2??? He was injured in game 3 and hasn’t been seen since.
He played in Round 6 Einstein.

I don't think it is a binary thing like you are desperately trying to make it. Players play injured all the time. Also if you are injured in the off-season you can rest and improve your injuries but you cant train and become match fit.

One thing is certain. You don't bring a player of Kane Evans stature to the club and not give him more than 4 games to establish himself unless injuries/fitness is impacting on form.

What exactly did I make up? The hilarious reference to merkins who think that BA loves small packs or the facts that dispute that. You can claim that he underestimated it or overestimated the recruits but well there’s a delicious proof pudding to eat

I'm not claiming anything. I'm giving an opinion as a long-time footy fan.

Thats right I forgot he did play against Canberra, he was that good I forgot that he played.

And a player of Kane Evans stature??? Lol is that a euphemism???

And keep giving them Lingard, it’s laughable that some on here try and portray you as a Death Rider.

You always are fair with your criticisms, but the fact is we are last and the season is dead and buried at the start of May. And it’s no one’s fault apparently.

I thought I'd throw it in and see if you are paying attention. You've been struggling all morning.

Lingard isn’t a deathrider. He’s the anti Pou, giving pro blame brigade, devils advocate perspective to the moderate community

Edit - and for mine it’s not that it’s no ones fault, it’s just not one persons fault

No-one tries to paint him as a death rider you f**ken idiot.

He went into bat for a bunch of people and tried to make a point about how someone saying "It's f**ked, everything is f**ked" is sensible commentary and is now being called a "deathrider" by me as a shit stir.

And you're comments about "it's no-one's fault apparently" is just as much of a shit stir as me calling someone a "deathrider". Of course BA and the players are at fault. I don't see anyone suggesting that it is no-one's fault.

Thank god! I’ll let BAs family know they won’t be sacrificed to encourage him to not make mistakes

Hey, mate. Why do you think it would be so shockingly, terribly aweful if BA did make a mistake in that regard? I don't (as I pointed out in my previous post).
After all, he is a fairly inexperienced head coach with a lot on his plate and few assistants. It would be plain crazy to think a guy in that position.is infallible. I don't want his head, as you seem to think. Just saying it's quite possible that he underestimated the loss of Radradra and over-estimated the performance of our forwards. After all, most of us on this forum did (except for a few fairly astute posters - I wasn't one of them - they're called death riders). Chill out, mate. BA might be a lovely guy and a very good coach in many ways; but at the end of the day, if reports are correct, he gets paid somewhere between 5 and 10 times my salary to do this job. He's not immune from criticism.

I’m aware that BA isn’t infallible and am well aware he has made mistakes this season, but then I’m not the one defending those who want him carstrated over those mistakes

Mate, the one thing I hate in all this world, above everything else I might hate in all this world - is political correctness. It is a despicable and cowardly form of subversion. No one wants him castrated. We are a group of ardent footy fans. Can you not see that? If some people are not as eloquent as others or tend to get excited and throw the baby out with the bathwater in total frustration, surely you and others can see beyond that to the disappointed fan behind it?

That would all be fine but then they start claiming expertise and I like to poke holes in that and call out bullshit. I’m not being politically correct, I just hate negativity for the sake of negativity
