that makes sense as I thought it a bit weird that Josh would be coming off contract.

Sticky likes his big boppers
Plenty of good big men off contract twizzle. But my priority would be younger guys like Shaun Lane and Nathan Browne from souths. They wont cost you overs. They could potentially be very good but at worse solid.

Also I have this sneakie feeling Nathan Peats will be back - Who signs a 18 mth contract? His heart is with Parra. He has a house here. He will come back in Novemeber.

There's supposed to be a big bump in the salary cap in 2018, I think that's what a lot of player managers are negotiating for either with small contracts or trying to get a boost for that year.

What do people think of Toutai? I think his carries are very strong and gets the team going forward. How do you fix his hands? To me that's about his biggest weakness. Otherwise he would make quite a good option for first grade.Him and Semi carting it up from the wing would give the forwards so much breathing space.
Yeah, good carry and jams well in defence. Otherwise he's a liability against the kick. I don't think he'll ever be a first grader but seems to be a good man to have in the top 25.

I like him, but his hands and bomb defusing needs a lot of work.

If they're not playing in Australia already do we even want them? Players go to the Super League because they're not good enough for the NRL (or in Carney's case, banned). If we need a backup we can surely find one in Australia. And if we need a top 17 player Australia is the only place where they exist.

The team currently running third who beat the Sharks last night might disagree with you.

Just read in the Sunday Telegraph that the last person Hayne spoke to before committing to the Titans was Nathan Peats. Peats allegedly convinced Hayne to turn his back on the Eels and sign with the Titans.

Also from the Sunday Telegraph, James Segeyaro has a month to decide whether or not to return to the NRL. He has been given a four week deadline to take up a lucrative 2 year offer from Leeds in the UK Super League.

In addition Farah has received serious interest from Saints, Souths and Parra but no formal offer has been made. Also from Sunday Telegraph. Now that's enough go buy your own newspaper.

Shaune Lane was released from the dogs for a poor attitude. Can't make the warriors side either.

I like Brown though has got size but has the heart.

Robbie Farah still has plenty to offer a team, particularly if the Tigers are paying most of his salary. He's in the best 13 players at the Tigers, actually he's in their top 5 players. Unfortunately he is on considerably more than he's worth at the Tigers, which at the end of the day is actually the Tigers main issue with him staying.

Robbie and Bunji back together could be interesting.

I think we should look at Asofa Solomona at the Storm and if Souths are looking to offload him, Tom Burgess. Both players would transform our go forward.
