I was talking about halves. The team currently running third who beat the Sharks last night might disagree with you.

Yeah it wasn't money, it was PeatsyJust read in the Sunday Telegraph that the last person Hayne spoke to before committing to the Titans was Nathan Peats. Peats allegedly convinced Hayne to turn his back on the Eels and sign with the Titans.
I think the article is crap too. I'm just writing what was reported to generate some talk about what this thread is about rather than semantics like Pou circular logic about irrelevant shit.Yeah it wasn't money, it was Peatsy
Hope he stays over there. Last thing we need is Norman's sex tape wingman back on the scene, distracting Corey from meeting the expectations of his new upgraded Eels contract. Also from the Sunday Telegraph, James Segeyaro has a month to decide whether or not to return to the NRL. He has been given a four week deadline to take up a lucrative 2 year offer from Leeds in the UK Super League.
I reckon we could handle one or the other next season, but signing them both would be a bit silly imo.Robbie Farah still has plenty to offer a team, particularly if the Tigers are paying most of his salary. He's in the best 13 players at the Tigers, actually he's in their top 5 players. Unfortunately he is on considerably more than he's worth at the Tigers, which at the end of the day is actually the Tigers main issue with him staying.
Robbie and Bunji back together could be interesting.
Thankfully the Club (except for Seward) had moved on from Hayne the minute Hayne decided to walk out on us early in October 2014. Some fans were slower than others in catching on - but that's just media hype for you...
We have dodged the biggest bullet attitude-wise, squad balance-wise, and media circus hype-wise. Hayne can get MOM for the Titans today and "steer" them to the finals and a premiership win for all I care, and I'll still think we're better off without the human headline in our ranks.

We should give Farah a get out of jail card, one year contract for 2017 with the Tigers paying a lot of the freight. During that time Farah can teach Pricthard some things or two (by example, and at training), with De Gois as an injury back up. Farah can then back himself to earn a 2018 contract elsewhere, with the good form he'll show for us....

Yeah I saw your use of 'allegedly'. Stop getting defensive you whiny old bitch. There's nothing circular about it.I think the article is crap too. I think we dodged a bullet not resigning Hayne, he wouldn't fit in to the attitude BA and the players have. Playing for each other mentality . The big money for one wouldn't have excited the team and his prima donna attitude being the highest paid in the NRL wouldn't help the "doing it for the team" .
Hayne always said he world return to Parra if they wanted him. I think the offer to Hayne was a way of saying "well we dont really want you but if we didnt make an offer our fans would kill us".
Then why comment if you saw it?Yeah I saw your use of 'allegedly'. Stop getting defensive you whiny old bitch. There's nothing circular about it.
Could well be right. But no TPAs atm is a huge problem. Although it's a problem for all signings, not just Hayne.Hayne always said he world return to Parra if they wanted him. I think the offer to Hayne was a way of saying "well we dont really want you but if we didnt make an offer our fans would kill us".
