Look.
You pick juniors who will be stars and get the correct like me. Then you may speak.
Another one is Xerri for sharks
Xerri is already on every club’s radar. When he’s off contract there will be high demand. There won’t be much value for whichever club signs him unless he becomes a superstar. Best value will be for the Sharks during his current contract if he becomes a first grader. But if he doesn’t there’s no value for them either. It’s always about getting the most value before a player’s current contract ends. Who will get the most value out of Jesse Ramien, the Sharks or the Knights? The Sharks are already getting great value (probably). The Knights will be paying a lot more.

And Ramien played in Manly’s NYC team but not first grade, so how much value did they get from him? Zero. Same with us from all our talented kids yet to play first grade.

SHOOSH II

WHICH out-of-town NRL club is making a big play for Corey Norman, much to the delight of Eels officials who are desperate to punt him?

REBEL BACKING

REBEL Sports has jumped on board with the NRL as a major sponsor of grassroots footy, coinciding with the huge growth in female participation.

It’s a coup for rugby league because Rebel boss Erica Berchtold is on the board of Sydney FC in soccer’s A-League. It turns out Erica is also a huge fan of the NRL and particularly Parramatta Eels.

He's smart. The words 'Rebel' and 'female' raised more than enough red flags.

And rightly so

Lane leaving Manly for Eels

It’s interesting that Shaun Lane is leaving the Sea Eagles to join Parramatta. You may remember that Lane was Jackson Hastings’ roommate on the night in Gladstone when Hastings and Daly Cherry-Evans had their infamous altercation.

Lane backed Hastings’ version of events during the Sea Eagles’ inquiry into the matter.

Hastings is off to Salford to continue his career for the next few months and hopes to get another NRL start.
