I know things are tough and I get pissed off too at this basket case of a club but after a few cans on the couch let me say this.

This club drives me mad, but there is a certain romance in our uniquivical passion. Hater or hugger who cares.

How good is footy, how good is the hope of a better season. Life is good friends! I look forward to the offseason screaming.

So every year we will win 11 games, plus or minus 5 games. That's been the case since 2014. In the five years before that we were more like 8 +/- 4 wins per regular season.

I'm sure we would like to change it to a more Cronulla-esque 12 wins plus/minus 5 (under Flanagan) but I suspect that involves buying a bunch of old, experienced merkins and hoping they don't get injured.

If you remove the outliers of 2017 and 2018 you get 11 wins plus/minus 2 wins. Which is a lot more consistent.

I'd assume he/she would have a free reign by this time next year. After that, most of the guns will be re-positioned away from the coach and aimed directly at the HOFM. Five year plan............lol. In the current climate that is the Eels, that person would be lucky to see out three.
