If that article about Sivo signing is correct, I reckon Semi is a long shot.

You’re probably right. It depends whether we think Semi can be our long term centre. Jennings probably has 1, maybe 2 years of quality, whereas Semi will provide quality for plenty of years to come. The question is whether the coaching staff can get him up to speed defensively for centre.

I don't think we'll be looking to take a $750K+ gamble on that, given our recent signings. Even if it is real. Unlike some other teams we have a budget.

He may come on a lot after another off season. MJ and Fergo do not have many years left. Sivo looks good but does have weaknesses
On Parry he has played in centers all year in reserves. Seappi g to wing would take some adjustment.

Welch really does seem like a quality human...can play too!!

We should deadset have a warchest to play with next year.

We should be able to easily make a choice between Jennings and Semi (if he wants to come back) and still be able to sign a quality middle like Welch. With Evans starting to contribute and a leaner Alvaro, as well as Kaufusi and Utoikamanu, we’re in good shape next year.

Are there any quality edge forwards available?

Need at least another big middle with a bit of skill and mongrel in him imo. We still get dominated too easily and need to improve that.
