And not in fairytale land where contracts aren’t worth the paper they’re written on, you have to take on his remaining 7 years, $1m a year contract, or fairly compensate Cows/JT for not taking on the full contract.
Edit - by “spend” I of course mean turfing current players

Despite all the hype, we have ZERO idea of how good or bad Penisini will be at centre in the NRL (I've heard all this hype so many times over the years that now it just sounds like words echoing down the hallway.
