I don't think our attack has been rubbish for the last 8 seasons. Look at 2019 we scored 58 points in a final, but what ended up costing us was our defence not our attack later on. 2020 we scored 24 and 22 points in both our finals games. I think our major problem has been our defence and the structures we've been using.

How does our attack go against the top sides?? We put 58 points against a woeful Brisbane and then the next week scored a big fat zero against the Storm. In that game we had a heap of ball that second half. It’s ok when our power game is able to bully the top sides into submission how does our attack go when that doesn’t work???

You had him dead and buried as well, what because we finally had a decent crack in a finals game??? That game proved to me we have the team to compete against the top sides but not the coach or the staff. How badly did he bungle the bench in that game yet again??? 8 year coach has no idea how to pick or manage a bench and you want me to believe we will just magically win a GF just because??? Come on mate.

You make some valid points hiney (whineyrulz should be your real name) but just bang on too long about it. Even I have banged on about our piss poor forward pack several years ago but finally BA listened to me and went with my advice, bigger forwards with some skill.

However, in your defence, BA made an extremely poor decision to play Lussick (our last D/H) in the round 25 game against Panthers and the lack of a dummy half cost us in our final game, plus poor refereeing, against Panthers.

That is now 2 finals games decided by refs against us, the other one in 2017? against Storm when Cam Smith broke record by playing more games than anyone else. The NRL were never going to let us win that one!

You're ignoring the fact that we still scored 58 points in a finals match. Melbourne watched video on us and knew what we were going to throw at them. Give some credit to Melbourne. As for the 2020, my point is scoring 24 and 22 points in finals should get you the win, in the end, defence let us down not attack.

Good to see the NRL has failed miserably once again to protect and strengthen the game.

Add a franchise to the north of Brisbane, while the AFL setup camp and dine out on the number one junior area of the State in the south western corridor of QLD. The AFL's new football development and $100m spend by them is going to be money well spent. The Brisbane Lions are now the number one team in Brisbane with 40K members, more then the Broncos.

It won't be long now before the AFL will add a second Brisbane team to their comp and no prizes where that is going to be based.

AFL, the kings of Brisbane. You keep beating your chest ARLC. You're simply the best.

Oh but the Dolphins gave a guarantee and commitment to spending $1m on grass roots for boys juniors and $1m for girls too. Yeah!

Just noticed that Jackson Ferris is off contract, correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't this guy a prospect for Cronulla. Could be a really good signing for us, considering our shortage in outside backs.

Has Tim Sheens signed for 3 years for $1m total or for $1m a year for 3 years? Anyone know?

I'm presuming that it is $1m a year. Which is ridiculous if true.

TBH I reckon when we had the ball Moses' kicking game was equally important, if not more so. It swung momentum for us a number of times.

you'd think the dolphins would use another name for their nrl branding. most people in brissy hate the dolphins through the qrl. i assume the jets out west didn't have the money behind them.

We were great that night, I think Melbourne were due a loss and got them at the right time but still we were great. We attacked a little different that night sadly we didn’t seem to keep playing that way. Plus our forwards just smashed theirs, hopefully we might see a slide down the ladder next year for the Scum.

If they had any balls they would relocate a Sydney team there.
