I was concerned Shaun Lane was the only backrower that was signed up for 2023 at the start of the year as i saw him as 3rd choice so its great he is living up to his potential.

We are definitely using him better.

Papali'i will be a loss but certainly can be replaced by an edge backrower on the right.

I don't think our 2023 squad will be too bad too expect a sudden drop to the bottom half of the table. Half those sides down the bottom have a lot work both roster wise & fix up the losing culture they have developed to jump up.

It frustrates me though whenever players get interviewed like freddy last night telling moses this year is your last chance to win a premiership because 4 or 5 players are leaving.

I hope mentally the players still here don't think that way.
Freddy hasn’t got a clue. Only slightly better than the fools on 360

So this is it.

We beat Storm and we will be 4th. Its almost a must win.
Losing means we would of been better off if Storm win last night. It would of given us the possibility of Radiers or Broncos week 1.

Lose and we finish 5th or 6th. If Rabbits best Cowboys tonight we either play Roosters or Rabbits. Almost impossible for any other scenario.
Ideally we want the Cowboys to win tonight.

Had Storm won then Souths could of knocked the Roosters out in the final round.

Beating the STORMS HUGE. I dont like our chances against Souths at all and the Roosters are the form side. Good thing is they are a little banged up.

Next week is our ticket to a deep finals run.

I'd love the Cowboys to win tonight, and then Souths to be pumped up to end the Roosters' winning streak the week after.

It's great to be in with a chance at fourth, and it will be a close contest against the Storm.. but one which honestly could go either way. So I'm prepared for our pathway afterwards if we lose - either way, we just have to win 3 (if finishing top four) or 4 (finishing 5th-8th) finals games in a row, just playing a bunch of tricky teams in different orders.

We cant win more than 3 games in a row

But thats ok ... next week 3rd win ... lose to the ruff ... then 3 wins for the premiership 🏆

“But they’re identical twins ffs! If you’ve seen Juan you’ve seen Amal.”

@parra pete

Any relation to the Spanish fireman who named his identical twins Jose` and HoseB????...
Jason Hetherington has identical twins - he said when they were just babies he could only tell them apart by their balls.."One bawled in the morning, the other in the night":
