Wicks probably as we are low on prop stock and he does a good job. He will hopefully be a bargain buy still.

IDG I have gone sour on. Furthermore, I have also gone sour on Pritchard.

I think IDG makes a good 14 with someone like Peats but he is not consistent enough as the #1 hooker.

Pritchard will also only be a good 14, but the amount of injuries he gets means he is risky.

It will be interesting next game if Pritchard is out injured. I wouldn't play IDG for 80 mins anymore.

It's not all about go-forward. Most of the players in the middle are there for their defence. Even hookers need to offer workrate and line speed, on top of low mistakes at dummy half. If you have an attacking specialist in the middle you'll obviously use him, with him taking more carries than the others. But otherwise you can generate quick play-the-balls through your edge forwards, or even in the middle by using the ball and getting your middle forwards running against only two defenders (or even one).

Funny how every club has pissed him off prior to his contract ending. He is lazy and obviously overweight. We will do the same. Eventually I will be proven right as most of the garbage players I have identified in our club.

I dont think jennings has been bad for us .... but i think he is a waste of money that could be better spent elsewhere .... however i think we f**ked up and there is no way we can move him on now

I would be happy with a taka gutho centre combo but it wont happen

BA is a great coach but he went on the vinegar stroke too quickly with Jennings. Despite me thinking he is overrated I can see the argument for Foran but not Jennings.

Jennings was bought for the short term benefit, at the expense of long term pain (or at least lack of benefit). With the Roosters subsidising him this year he would be fantastic value. Shame about the impending loss of points.

Anyway, there's no good reason we paid Jennings overs in future years. The problem is he is worth a lot (for an outside back) and even if he is only paid what he is worth, it is more than we needed to spend on anybody at his position.
