I for one don't see him moving to the forwards and am stumped people suggest it. Forwards need to be big and strong powerful men.Tough and aggressive. Just cause Matterson did? Matto was a large unit and powerfull.
JA is tall and will fill out more but he is lanky and just isn't a forward in any way at all. It would be like suggesting Turbo should move to 2nd row. Similar body shape.

I guess it’s a case of eels fans being bias towards their own.

have you spoken to rival fans about ja? Haven’t heard anything positive towards his selection.

even spoke with a parra employee that I know, and he was very vocal about the situation.

Yes Mik.
He made a belching type of sound and laughed. Then shook his head while blowing air our of his mouth.

As I said Forwards need to be tough and powerfull so I have no idea why people on here think he could be one.
Let's all point to Matterson who was not an organiser or kicking half. He was a strong powerful kid and ball runner firstly with a bit of ball skills.
JA strong points are not his dam running game. Or his toughness. It is his organising and ball skills. His run games his weakness but all of a sudden people want to transform him into a 2nd rower.
If he can't make it as a halfback or 5/8 he has no place in the game. It's that simple.

He might make a good assistant coach

and he aren’t a slug like a lot have suggested……he has enough pace for a half. Yeah he won’t be the quickest, but halves don’t need to be either….

I saw the highlights of his GF win in the schoolboys final a while back, good pace for a long-range try, and compared to kids his age

against NRL players, not so much as they are mature and much stronger
