@emjaycee said it the other day. If he’s signed anywhere (us or anyone else) yet, it won’t be announced until week leading into round 1. Simply for PR.
The slight addendum I’d add to that is the closer it gets without being announced, the more likely he stays because if he tells us he’s going elsewhere, we’d be more likely to leak it because f**k the Tigers.

But then also the further passed season kick off it gets, the more likely he leaves
