Does releasing Brown free up that much? If he was on 500k, we have already paid him 5 months worth (Nov - March), which frees up a bit over 250ish.

On the same note, signing a merkin in March is going to be cheaper than if we'd signed him in November.

Depends how keen we are to get rid of him versus how keen he is to leave. He is 30 and off contract. His next contract could be his last. He doesn't want to have to negotiate from reserve grade.

I know you're being cheeky, but I honestly feel that is part of our problem - we are too nice, and play by the rules.

I reckon we need a few players that give their opposition a bit of a face massage when they are on the ground, or niggle in the ruck.

And we also need our players to realise that this is a contact sport, and the best way to get anywhere is to run with aggression.

Sivo is perfect at this...when we are in a scoring position.

C’mon, we’ve been pretty poor to start the year and I’m annoyed that we’re 0-2, but the Tigers have been abysmal. That performance today was among the absolute worst ever dished up by a professional football team. I’m frustrated by our start to the season; if I were a Tigers fan, I’d be apoplectic.

Have u watched the game? They lost against the Knights who had no one left on their bench, a sin bin and a send off.

Yeah there is a slight chance the Easter Monday game both teams could be 0-5 going into it.

I wouldn't say either side will be favourites in any of there games in the next 3 weeks.

Taking all the agendas away the fact of the matter is that we overpaid for Brown in the back end of his career and now we don't have to anymore. As long as we buy someone that will fill a gap in our squad, I think it's good business.

We need a centre/winger, a prop or a bench hooker. We will acquire at least one I'm certain.

Great little lesson hopefully learnt that we will hopefully take into consideration before signing Moses on an over priced, dumb long term deal.

Anyone whinging about Moses and his performance for this year (not great 1st game, brilliant in second) have no knowledge of the game. Tell me once where he caused us to lose a game. Our attack has been ok (and will improve with players back). But our defence is deplorable and our bench use is worse than deplorable. Blame both those on the coach! So maybe we should focus on the coach and his value for money rather than write rediculous things about MM.

If we chipped in anything we're dummies, I highly doubt we have. We've already paid 1/3 of his wages already and Roosters always have a lazy $1m or more lying around in their salary sombrero. Have we asked for a player swap but?
