He’s a massive plodder with the ball but Davey’s defence is very good.

I just think it’s our personnel. Defence starts with slowing the ruck, which means numbers in the tackle (before the attacker hits the ground), and big packs just don’t do that well. Look at Penrith’s lightweight pack. They’ve lost plenty of talent and struggling to score but they’re still defending well.

Its still an attitude problem, you see Merkings leaving huge holes in the middle of the field and other merkins just leaving it because its not their job.... then merkins expecting other merkins to cover them..
