Wags threw one of the best cut out passes (to burt) for a try that i have ever seen ... i think against the cowboys on mothers day - cant remember the year
Experts also predicted Broncos and Sharks winning easily in the WCC @UK this weekend.
Here is as good a place to put it as anywhere. All 9 staffers at Big League and their guest columnist Braith Anasta have tipped the Eels to miss the Top 8 in 2017.
Dessie would be proud of how far under the radar we are flying, I guess. No-one tipped us for the spoon either which I suppose is nice. Silver linings and all.

I can understand why we have been tipped to miss the 8.
Don't pretend you are positive all of a sudden.I can't.
Actually, scratch that. I just realised that you are being negative about the experts, rather than being positive about the eels.Don't pretend you are positive all of a sudden.
It's going to be a highly competitive season this year. I can see 14 teams easily making or not making the Top 8, with just Dragons and Knights not real contenders to make the Top 8. Although I can still see both teams winning plenty of games throughout the season.
Injuries again will have a large influence on who makes it and who doesn't.
I can understand why we have been tipped to miss the 8.
Im even more confident of a big season, some of these so called experts had Manly winning the comp last year. Here is as good a place to put it as anywhere. All 9 staffers at Big League and their guest columnist Braith Anasta have tipped the Eels to miss the Top 8 in 2017.

On defence alone we will win a lot of games. It is whether we have enough patience and polish in attack (particularly close to the opposition line). In a vacuum Chipmunk is completely correct and Gary's opinion isn't unreasonable. However 0/10 from tipsters after finishing the very definition of a season from in hell in 2016 with enough wins to qualify for the Top 8 sans the points penalty is pretty f**king harsh don't you say?
People tipping us to miss the Top 8 ultimately isn't any skin off my or anyone's back but I did think it was an amusing little discussion point for a Monday morning.
I can understand why we have been tipped to miss the 8.
Which paragraph ffs? ... geez, please try and be helpful next time fortyHere is as good a place to put it as anywhere. All 9 staffers at Big League and their guest columnist Braith Anasta have tipped the Eels to miss the Top 8 in 2017.
