Just not a team player, I would have sacked after his dog act, taking suspension and leaving his mates high and dry, he should b first to go, the first and only player I reckon in history who has ever or will ever do this ever again!! that will b his legacy!!!

30 is pretty old for a forward in the modern game. Obviously a lot of them are still very capable first graders but the majority are past their peak by then. Using a quick example of the data in SOO game 3 the QLD origin team had one forward over 30 in Capewell whilst NSW had one in Jurbo. Neither of them really had a great series. The majority of elite forwards are younger now. The problem isn’t having a 30 year old on your team. It’s when the majority of your pack is made up of them (like where we are heading atm).

Storm have a multi millionaire, betting company owner as their CEO negotiating the extension. Has our board managed to find anyone of that standing to get involved in the Eels.
Seems the clubs finding success have that sort of individual as a prerequisite, then you add influencers like Politis, Gus etc.
Not sure our HOF has sufficient influence in the player market place
