Tigers woudl be better off concentrating on keeping Moses, Woods and Teddy only at this stage. Brooks is a hand brake a lot of the time between his awful defence and simple mistakes, there's no way any team should be offering him anywhere near the $$'s being talked about. Chad Townsend or Ata Hingano would be better value... although Townsend's manager was saying he would be asking for around a million a season last week wasn't he? Can only assume he had been smoking something before he said that...

Eels score a bargain

The Parramatta Eels have got plenty of money to spend on recruitment for next season but they might not be in a rush to find a playmaker given the performances of Clint Gutherson to start the year. And why would they be. Gutherson is on less than $300,000 a season and is performing better than those demanding three times as much.

I think sometimes we over estimate what players are earning.

Don't forget he is still a rookie with only 1 full year of NRL.

At 350 id take reynolds and putnhin at hooker.
800k? Tell him he dreaming. There problem is Mbye thou. He isnt a half .Would be a great fullback. Move the slug to centres.
Reynolds would be fine as a supporting half. He is trying to run the show.

Unless BA wants a genuine merkin utility on his bench.

At a pinch he could play 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,9 maybe even 11,12 or 13 if required.
