If Moses was to leave there is no reason why Brown couldn’t move to 7 and Gutherson to 6 with the acquisition of a superstar fullback like Ponga or Papenhuyzen or even Trbojević.

I like the idea of Turbo at fullback!

Gutho to 6 till Sanders develops then move him to centre..

I like change.
Moses long kicking, if he leaves, will necessitate a change of tactics.
His speed is something hard to replace as well.
Hes also our goal kicker.
It could be the makings of us in one sense.
That said hes such an improved player I hope he stays.
I also hope he stays but not for too long. Two more years would be my preference with an option in our favour for a third.

If he leaves, we should either buy Lomax or someone like Garrick to do the goal kicking however I’m sure Gutherson could do it long term if he had to.

Anything is possible. My prediction is thag Seibold and Manly will struggle and the Trbojević May and try and find a new home and car pool with Gutho.

Turbo does need a change Manly are not going to challenge for a competition for a long time.
He can bring is brother across aswell Jurbo he also has gone stale but is a BA type of player.

I doubt Moses would stay for 2 years he would want a 4 year extension. Which would mean we could lose Sanders (which could be bad or good depending how he develops).

Lomax would be a nice addition to the centres.

I was thinking about that the other day. As much as we all complain about how this shit is playing out in the media, it kind of conditions us to accept that he might go. Ultimately we are now prepared for any outcome and if he does leave, the outrage will probably be less than him announcing it suddenly last November.

Some great thoughts going on inside that dull brain of yours.

Anyone know what he is like? Dogs seem to have good young centres and I heard a few good young fullbacks coming thru. Will be interesting to see if clubs start to poach them.
Why don't you ask your little birds ?

Turbo's won't leave Manly.

They were born and bred there on the Northern beaches.

They have been given every excuse through big money offers from rivals and instability to leave that hole of a joint and still haven't.

You’d think he’d make one before the season starts. Isn’t May the cut off date for his player option for season 2024 on his current contract?
Yep and at the moment isnt all the discussions about what he might do in 2024 (and beyond)?

Anyway I realised today its less then 6 weeks before the 1st game against Melbourne.

Bring it on the pricks haven't beaten us at the new stadium as they are 0/3 & I think it will stay that way.

Papenhuyzen unlikely or will be underdone. Storm have lost a chunk of there forward pack.

BA has a tendency to get us up early in the season with home games.

Hopefully Junior puts big Nelson on his arse.

And Bellamy goes home crying again.

I surprised Storm are favourites.
They lost B.Smith,Kafusi and the Bromwich brothers. Tariq is the only new signing and he is 33 before season kicks off.
Papa won't be back. Welch will but how good both return is questionable. Isn't that 2 x knee recovery for Welch in 3 seasons?

I wouldn't be suprised if the Storm did struggle. They where hardly world beaters last season. They've lost quality. 2 guys coming back from bad injuries. They may suprise with a few new kids but I wouldn't be suprised if they went backwards and maybe put of the top 8 for the first time in ever.

How they are 2nd favourites to win the comp is beyond me.
