I’ve never had the opportunity. If they are a bit beyond their prime that’s ok, so am I.

The Auckland Nines is where it's at winning with a bunch of plodders like Ryan Morgan, Peni Terepo, Vai Toutai, Luke Kelly, Mitch Cornish, Cameron King, Cody Nelson, David Gower.

The issue of the last few years is still there

From the published 25 under contract, there are 3 halves, 7 backs which include 2 new fullbacks and Dunster and 15 forwards.

Until the backs are added to and at least another half, prop and possibly better hooker, we will continue to tread water. Can’t expect 18/19 year olds to fill those gaps, they need time , maturity and experience.

My observation so expect Pou to join in and say all is well.
