A couple of commentator questions:
1. I don't exactly like Vossy but who else would be a candidate for best commentator in the game?
Pretty much every one of the rest of them is terrible. Voss could clean up a few areas and be easily the best.
2. How much do people think a guy like Roach gets paid to commentate? I think it would be less than $150k per year.

For those who are at games, where is Iongi when breaks are made?
He is usually making the break.
As others have pointed out, Teddy, Hammer, Edwards, Paps, Turbo are all in support when a line break is made.
True, good point.
Is Iongi preparing for the next set play and so have no awareness that a break is made?
Probably all players on teams without confidence are doing that.
I would include the Fox too? Where is he when a line break is made?
I don't know.

As an offensive coordinator myself I coach my players who are playing fullback, 5-8 and half to all be on their toes for a line break. If one of them isnt the first to react and be in position to receive a pass then I have them all running laps at training while the other players towel whip the bare backsides.

Vossy 100% used to be best in the game, but he become to anecdotal and tries to be funny/witty which he’s just not.

these days in terms of lead commentators:
Warren Ryan
Dan Ginnane
Voss
daylight
Channel 9 guy

I’m convinced Blocker must pay Fox to employ him…

What changes are we expecting this week?

I think Penisini offers more than Samrani in that bench utility role covering centres and second row (I actually think he could develop into a decent edge forward if we made the call and spent the off season working on it)

how did Moretti go in cup?

I wouldn’t be surprised to see the same 1-17 named with Luca and Penisini 18/19 travelling up and maybe late inclusions/switches

Warren Smith for Foxtel..

It used to be Vossy but he is trying to hard to make arguments.

Joel Cain is a good caller on SEN and Scope is probably the least biased journo?

Moses is one who does support. The other used to be Gutho

100% this
Yeah. It is definitely a feature of the lower ranked teams. What makes it agonising is when the same team is confident and playing well it usually seems like there are 3 or 4 support players every break and it just looks so easy.
It's the same right now for us with offloads. We are good at getting them but the opponent is anticipating them a couple of steps ahead of our prospective receivers are expecting them.
