I think Ryles has spent this first season finding out who the players that will bring the attitude and culture and turn it into a successful outfit.

He has definitely found out what a selfish culture that has rotted in the joint in the background for years.

And the self entitlement from some players.

Two things have happened.
His manager treated us like rabbits. Signed a 3yr deal when DID HIS ACL on the cheap. Used us to pay him to rehabilitate and get fit and told Bailey once playing well again we will shop around. Thanks for the 250/300k Parra for my rehab. Suckers.

Bailey was pissed off when he was recalled to NRL and overlooked for guys like Will,Joash, and Russel and thats what's stirred him up.

Hes also 28 now , he wants a bigger contract as he doesn't have too many years left. Maybe get a bears or png contact to hopefully at least buy himself a home otherwise he'll have nothing post footy

He’s said he wants to play on the wing… well he’s certainly not ousting JAC or Lomax. Ryles will be looking for players that will play in the fkn front row if he asks them to. If you’re not “team first” you’re not in the team.

That is how you change club culture for the better.

If I was a mid tier player like him I’d do the same. It’s a great spot to retire, however don’t bank on any on field success anytime soon.
