I heard an interview yesterday, and sorry cant remember who told the story (Maybe Josh Mansour?), about when Ciraldo took over at the Bulldogs. Apparently there was a lot of pushback to his coaching from certain players who didn't agree with his style, 2 years later and all those players have been moved on and look where they are at now.
If the club genuinely believe in Benji then stay the coarse, use all these complaints as a way to trim the fat and keep building a club first culture.

Ciraldo completed an impressive apprenticeship whereas Benji came in as a greenhorn coach.I so want Benji to succeed for a no. of reasons (diehard fan plus stick it up Isaac Moses & grubby media who forever & take great pleasure in bagging us etc) but I’m quite concerned.Hope so much I’m wrong but I don’t see Benji making it as a coach.

He was extremely inexperienced and thrown into the deep end. It was always going to be tough. He also hasn't had it easy in relation to the Galvin and Moses saga.

At the same time he along with the rest of the team have developed a pretty good squad and we are 3 and 4. I also think he is handling himself well in relation to the media.

The issue is in yesterday's game we went to pieces when the decisions went against us. We need to be resilient in those situations. It's like the spoon bowl last year when we went to pieces. Benji has to get this team firing under pressure.

It's a long way to the end of the season.

I really want to see Benji succeed.

The most important part of a Ciraldo success was the employment of Gould as supremo, he was able to make the big decisions that would normally be beyond that of a first year coach. He signed players, made promises that he later found answers for, and remains a major influence in media and recruitment.

In some ways , Ciraldo had a lounge chair ride compared to Benji and Ryles, who face conrolling/ rebuilding teams without such a major contributor.

At the Eels we have to overcome the learning on the job HOF ( Tigers life member and sacked employee) , and Tigers the Sheens issue, both of which are much more difficult.

Apparently Tumeth and Matamua ( spelling ??) have also gone to the RLPA over bullying or something or other...one of them is with IM..the other one probably managed by a friend of his

It's not like MSM to get it wrong hahaha

You haven't been here for a few days with your eye issue.
Hilarious, I had to go back and check my posts because I didn't know I had eye issues:)
I had another fall and they did a hip arthroplasty, it was so bad that they stopped short and now have to have the hip replaced, the strong drugs they gave me caused my eyesight to go all blurry....now it makes sense :)
Got to wait 5 weeks and use a cane :(
