If I were to guess what will happen, I think we will lose Bula. While I'd be disappointed with that outcome, I won't be slitting my wrists over it either. Bula does the basics exceptionally well and has potential to grow further. But, he does not command the elite money he seemingly wants. He is replaceable.

I really hope we keep him. I think he is a top tier player and it will be hard to replace him. I agree he isn't elite but he is close to it and to me he is very Dylan Edwards like.

All the points taken and appreciated, but I just think theres room on the forum to get onto the offence for a change.

And a lot of our players, they are absolute genuine first choice starters in any team in the comp and internationals.

Even Royce has lost 15kg because he “ gets it” That’s a 24/7 mental effort. Thats what our club means to him.

So the days of sweating on a single player who overrates himself are long gone.

I can understand a fair price, but he’s not being fair and he doesn’t appreciate just how tough the recent era has been for us.

I don’t mind if people have their own very different views. I never really have.

Id be quite nervous offering him 700.

He’s one of our glass stomach players I’m afraid.

Id expect that Attard will be ready to go by 2027.

I’d be brutal. For each month that passes I’d be taking $30k+ off the offer starting March.

Edwards has taught us a chumpy robust fullback ( who has a massive heart) with the skill set of a garden gnome -is better than any candy store popper.

Yeah, there’s less pressure on him in a developing side, plus the funds are good.

Hes kind of won enough with smug, so he’d be looking to stamp his own dominance on a new side and link our success with him.

My only issue is that he’s too caught up with the public love of Benji.

Players should commit to clubs not coaches. I think that’s what fans expect.

Plus he really needs to spark up. Hes nowhere near full throttle.

Expansion team Perth has a quality fullback already. They won't be paying top dollar for another one.

I like this game of chicken we are playing with Bulla.

No other club has been heavily linked to him (if someone was interested the Tigers hating press would be all over it). If he would have received an offer over his option, he would have taken it. And we signed Attard as cover.

Honestly, losing him will not break this club, just like losing Galvin didnt.

We saw on the weekend, we have depth, which is a nice change.

My personal view is he is a solid fullback. Solid. Not a top flight guy. He has some upside, but Im also worried hes close to his ceiling already.

That's my starting price and im not worried now as much as I was at the start of the year. Depth is getting better.
We need him for this year which we have and anything else is a bonus imo Tiger.
