I would like young blood too but for all the flag waving about Liddle's potential he still can't play 80 minutes so are we better off with Farrah who can play 80 or playing Liddle and losing a bench spot because we have to carry another hooker ? As for 5/8 who else do we have apart from Grub ?

Kind of see what you are saying but they are two separate questions in my view

1. Are Farah and Marshall worth another contract?
2. What players are available to play 6 and 9 for Wests Tigers?

Regarding Q1 - we had 10 games last year to make the finals when Farah rejoined. We won 5 and lost 5. 6 of those matches were against sides that didn't play finals. When asked in his first press-conference post Farah signing last June Ivan stressed "it was only for the rest of the year." What did Farah do in those 10 matches to warrant another contract? Not enough IMO.

Marshall refuses to be tackled or make tackles. He's had enough. You cannot carry a player like that in 2019.

On point 2 - LIddle has shown he is too good for reserve grade IMO. He's had injuries but is fit now and is off contract. We should be playing him at NRL level for the rest of the season. Tyson Gamble is in the same boat. Probably hasnt dominated Reserves but should be eased in off the bench or at left centre in place of Momirovski

If he came to us he would have the red carpet laid out to him on any position 1-5

Twitter says he is going to Souths. One tweet made the point that Souths have only named 20 players this week so that would suggest they are up to something in regards to new signings.

Marshall when on song is one of the better halves in the comp. Farah is also still a quality option. It all comes down to how much we pay them. On small dollars you couldn't do much worse.

As for Liddle we should be retaining him and giving him more game time.

Momirovski killed it in 2 games at the roosters, came here for an opportunity, so lets give the merkin one! Fmd, he is a spcialist centre, lets play him there instead of a bloke who happens to be big, and does not much else

As if it's some massive surprise that he's been doing his job so he doesnt deserve the same going rate as an "ordained" player sometimes not even going AS well. I agree, I don't think Robbie & Benji should be resigned, but that is not guaranteed.

We've been patient for 14 seasons, you want a lot of people gone, we've got to replace them, still think we are still a show to make the 8 this year, then I think attracting the better players may happen when we get some success.

How do you get rid of players on long term contracts who aren't up to it. I'd love to cull out those players and replace them with better ones but it's not that simple.

I do like the idea of Thompson at fullback with a bunch of better players around him. He would be a cheap reliable option.

I think DMZ could kill it for us. He is big and fast and we don't have any players like that.

I don't get the comments regarding replacing heaps of players. Sure if you can do it but there isn't that much talent out there that you can get on the cheap.

We are doing okay this year. Our coach seems to have the balls to drop underperformers as well. I'd be looking at slight improvements. Start with the outside backs and go from there.

Yes, a shit run of injuries. But he bleeds for the team. Most players go down for a broken fingernail, reynolds was hopping after someone to make a tackle after a knee injury.
