If you haven't already, when you get a chance, watch the "Ask the Boss" episode 2 (WT web site), has Hartigan on, nothing super informative, but does have a few things of interest.

Another great resigning. Such a beast when he is on. Knocked back a big offer from StG, good to see him show some loyalty back. Seems like a rare quality these days.

Official

Wests Tigers are pleased to announce that talented forward Zane Musgrove has signed a new playing contract with the club.

The new, three-year deal will see the 24-year-old remain in Wests Tigers colours until at least the end of the 2024 NRL season.

Glad to see a player turning down a big offer from another club to stay loyal. Been a while since we’ve seen that. In fact it’s been a long time since we’ve had such a good week in the player market. I guess a bit of stability with the coach helps in this department.

While I wouldn't have Musgrove in my top 17, Madge seems to rate him highly and stuck by him through all the bs he went through. Whether Musgrove indeed is in our regular front row rotation, it's so good to see a WT player demonstrate his loyalty to Madge.

Just need to wrap up Madge and Nofo signatures and then we can look to fill up those final two spots

There's 3 spots, assuming Laurie is not coming this year.

We need to fill two by 1st Feb IIRC, and the last by 1st August.

I don't believe Grub was released just for cap space, there is likely something in the works. We have another two moves to make in the next 6-7 weeks.

I feel we need to sign a marquee 2nd rower to partner Lucy. Garner isn't bad but I feel he has one foot out the door. Maybe not... Just a feeling.

If Garner and Lucy are the starting 2nd rowers tho, we really need to move Garner back to left hand side. Him and Brooks had a very good combination but he was moved because he wanted to break up Leuilua brothers. Now it seems BJ will be back on left side so they should move Garner back to left.

I would take Gebbie on a small contract over Mansour on half a million any day of the week
If he can be anything like Justin Olam then yes. He may be raw but Sivo, Semi, Korabitie and Olam were all raw at first and are now in the top 3-5 players in their positions. Once you have a game plan that utilises their power sometimes without playing well these guys find the line without the team doing much.

If we can get mansour for 300k/yr for 2 yrs we would get great value for money & it would enable us to give Nofa a shot at fullback.Penrith are obviously going to subsidise his current contract while he plays elsewhere however as has been reported Ayoub is eager to get him a 3 yr deal which hopefully we won’t entertain as it’s 1 yr too many for someone his age

No thanks to Mansour. He wants a 3year contract, we have a specialist FB coming in next year and I would rather give Nofa, AJ and Edene a shot at the wingers spots.. I don't see the spot for Mansour

I hope we can trade Cini for Laurie in 2021 and that'll solve our FB conundrum.

Madge officially resigned! Heck yeah!!!

OFFICIAL

Wests Tigers are pleased to confirm that Head Coach Michael Maguire has extended his contract with the club until the end of the 2023 NRL season.

Already contracted with the club for the 2021 season, the two-year deal will begin from the start of the 2022 season and will see Maguire become the second-longest serving coach in Wests Tigers history (behind Life Member Tim Sheens).
