I would scrap number 4. Turkey and most of the Middle East frown on drinking and don't even think of touching their daughters. :sarcasm:

Mis, what parts of the US would you recommend? Vegas is a given for me.

Tell me more about these girls...

I vote Japan. Mix it up and meet some bow-legged Japanese birds.

I've never had a Japanese girl. I hear their lovely. Do they all look like Maria Ozawa? If so, I'm there.

If you are making good bank and pretty happy with your job I would stay where and I and consolidate what I have.

Give it 12 more months and then reassess your options.

It sounds like you have found your groove.

That's an option. I definitely don't dislike my lifestyle here. I used to bemoan the social scene (or lack thereof) but in two weeks of singledom I've met about a dozen new people, got the numbers of a South African, a China, and a Colombian, and generally had a good time.

Live in Laos/Cambodia/Thailand etc. Beautiful part of the world and you have done a lot of Asia already.

Ever thought about South America?

I have. Alas, South American teaching gigs pay woefully even by Chinese standards :-(

Or have a Year in Canada or something like moi :)

Could do. Got a lot of friends there. I imagine the issues I have with Australia (cost, needing to work a lot) would be the same there, no?

I voted 'Other'

Kill someone.

Anybody in particular?

 Don't tell that to my mate there. He's a raging booze and poon fiend.

I loved the Pacific Northwest, particularly Portland. Fantastic microbrew beer and food. Multnomah Falls is beautiful.

Florida was fun. Miami, Orlando, the Keys etc. Dug the north-east - Philly, Annapolis, DC, New York. Cali was fun. Arizona is worth a look for the Grand Canyon.

To be honest, I've liked everywhere I've been, even 'dull' states like Maryland and Idaho.

I've been looking into living in Norway while I do my masters. They want you to have the equivalent of 16k Australian in your account to prove you can support yourself. Tuition is free and my masters is taught in English. They offer sport science and exercise physiology as one two year masters unlike here. I'm already two years away from graduation. But yeah f**k you biches, I'm going to Europe for two years

And the natives emerged from their huts, cheering and shouting as, today was a new day and finally it seemed that the oppressive reign of the Dragon had come to an end.

At least for the next two years, anyway.

Damn swype. It should say I am at least two years away from graduating and that's from my bachelors, so Norway in 2016. Sorry DKOR.

One of my exes was looking into that. Pretty sweet deal if you can get yourself over there and support yourself.

Yeah, just need to save up over the next two and a half years. Ideally I'll be able to work as a PT there while studying, but given the language barrier, that could be fairly difficult.

Hopefully I'll be able to do some work with some top researchers too, even though it is most likely unpaid. That part of Europe is where the best research comes out from, they have really lax ethic laws for research too.

Norway is really interesting linguistically too. They actually have two different languages that are used depending on context. I forget the vernacular one, but the formal one is called Bokmal.

Uni taught me something at least.

Arabic is the same there's fis7ah and 3omieh. The formal one is used for all written word and in TV shows and the slang one is the only one I really understand.

I think I should learn some Norwegian, might do it during my uni breaks.

Which awful company do you work for?

I was pretty lucky to work for BigPond (subcontracted through Salmat), so the work was shit but the workplace was a lot of fun.

iiNet were even better. Free internet usage without blockages, free lunch every Friday, free massages, free parties with booze once a month, and an overall fun place to work. I actually wouldn't hate ending up back there.

Salmat are garbage...

Call Centres - nutcase central.

By and large I'd have to agree, but I really enjoyed working for them in their Surry Hills Centre. That all came down to the management, though, and they were pretty cool. BigPond closed us down with very little notice in favour of another offshore, unfortunately.

Go to the Phillipines sometime, Mis. :)

My ex is there now. Certainly looks like a beautiful country and one I'd like to visit. Poor girl has had a rough time with overly handsy locals, but I think I'll be okay ;-) If a pinay wants to get grabby, I'm on board.

I have managed call centres and the stupidity and delusions of some of my employees made it interesting to say the least..

You get what you pay for, I find. iiNet has a better employee package and a minimum level of quality they look before when hiring. Salmat paid well, but treated you like crap for the most part.
