Guys unless Morrison is prepared to give evidence against Cross (which he has already said he won't) nothing can be proved and he'll get off.

I'm not a Rooster fan, but even I can see while it was a silly thing to do, there was no malice or digging of his fingers, just a rub over his eye area.

He was asked by the NRL to provide a statement, which was provided by Morrison and the Eels as per their website.

MEDIA STATEMENT
27 June 2005

Following a request this morning (27 June) from the National Rugby League's Match Review Committee, Parramatta Eels player Glenn Morrison has provided a written statement regarding an incident in the Round 16 match against the Sydney Roosters at Aussie Stadium.

Neither the Club nor player Morrison will be making any comment as to the contents of the statement.

The Club wishes to re-iterate that the statement was only provided as a result of a request from the National Rugby League

Again the footage should be enough anyway.

his fingers were clearly digging 'in' ..... clearly shown on the video replay.
He had the sh*ts from the previous play with morrison and wanted to roughen him up .. wrong way to do it though.

bye bye Cross .. ugliest player in the WORLD:lol:

He can consider himself very lucky. When you compare it to Bird and Hoppa's suspensions, his appears very light. They should have used Linnane's suspension as a guideline.
