I actually though it was the opposite with Shorne Marsh.
I ALWAYS thought he batted much better at international level then he does for WA. And I thought this because he gets talked up so much in media circles.
Turns out I'm wrong, his 35 shield average is higher than his 27 test average.
In the 50 over game he's at 36 in each format
In 20/20 stuff, he's 42.5 at domestic level, but just 17 for Aus (and has never made it past 50).
He rarely makes 100s, so why the heck does he get so much press?? Oh that's right, his dad.
He's averaging 9.71 after 7 shield innings this year. I know the selectors came out and said they haven't been watching much red ball cricket, but suuuurely 9.71 speaks for itself???
