I certainly am unimpressed with this thread gregstar. For heaven's sake, why start it now? The hex will begin a lot earlier and that will be the end of us. I'm not a happy chappy even though this is a forum and you have the right to add and say whatever, but again, why so soon - he might decide to withdraw and then this thread accounts for nothing, geez?!!

As they say, there are 2 types of coaches, those that have been sacked and those waiting to be sacked. Prepare for the worst and hope for the best. I thnk gregstar is just forward thinking unlike our BOD.

“I received the great news today that the St George Illawarra Dragons board have unanimously supported my appointment as Head Coach starting in 2024,” Flanagan said in a statement to foxsports.com.au.

Nothing on the Dragons website about this unanimous support he speaks off. In any case, congrats Flano, I bet McGregor wishes he'd just thought to extend his own contract.

Oh, and sack Flano. Kyle too while we're at it, just in case.

I’ll see out the year and then I’ll put my footy gear away in a box and Re read Never Before and Never Again for the next few years.

No doubt we have endured many bad decisions over the years and that has made following this club very difficult but this is beyond the pale for me.

If Flanagan had of been upfront, fessed up and complied with all that was asked of him then my position would be very different.

Drugs of any sort is dirty business but under the code of “trust me” and “it’s all ok he’s a Dr” that is horrendous..

Back on topic...all Flanno does as a commentator is make viewers fall asleep with his bland hypnotic voice.
We're doing the wider rugby league community a favour by having him as our coach.

I support the Dragons and ride the highs and lows no matter what
However I agree too Sack Flanno before he starts as I wanted Des
Why.. he is not talking to any decent players as recruits because I have heard nothing from the media yet
