That's pretty drastic action and a bloody hassle, but I suppose it's an option. Here's hoping it doesn't come to that.
NSW Fair trading complaint as well.
Statement of Claim in local court.

Indeed... from the media release...Fans are not part of Gordon's definition of "our people".
That is reserved for McGregor and the incompetent board.
It gets worse. Reportedly, McGregor rejected a Covid paycut while plenty of others did take a paycut, including players.

Meanwhile, season ticket holders who paid up front, myself included, can't see any resolution for a refund or credit. Something about loyalty etc etc... thanks for your support etc etc... we got your money.
Isn't this guy in his 90s?The decision to not sack Paul McGregor was effectively made prior to St George Illawarra’s 10.30am emergency board meeting on Tuesday, by someone who didn’t participate in it.
Dragons part-owner Bruce Gordon, whose estimated net worth as the head of WIN Corporation is $728 million, is not a director of the club. However, his view was conveyed to the board early in the 45-minute Zoom meeting: the coach is not to be boned.

It was good to read that "The directors made it clear that assistants Young and Shane Flanagan must be given more say in how the team is run.The decision to not sack Paul McGregor was effectively made prior to St George Illawarra’s 10.30am emergency board meeting on Tuesday, by someone who didn’t participate in it.

There will also be a renewed focus on promoting young players into the NRL side. The directors felt it was time to shake up selections, that too many underperforming stalwarts were blocking the path of rising talent. Boom rookie Jason Saab has already requested a release while Matt Dufty is considering his options given the Titans are keen to accommodate him immediately. Tristan Sailor was a standout during the Nines but can’t get a look in. McGregor has been told things need to change."
Exactly, shows how pig headed he is.And the same day he said f**k you and named the same side

Yeah right, he “has been told” .... so today’s teamsheet 13 includes no form-based change to comply with Board directive.
So we’re 16th & there are no form issues FFS
.... just the nonsensical continuation of blind loyalty blocking juniors & renewal
But Bruce has spoken & Illawarra parochialism prevails
- with the edict overriding any chance of Board democracy
And 6 year No 3 shopped-around “stalwart” Aitken
plies his mediocrity
as usual,
ad nauseum

My understanding is that WIN ie the Gordons pay the coach as part of some deal, but happy to be corrected. It would explain a lot. Perhaps it seemed like a good idea at the time.A JV takes two. Currently the dragons have two parties that share costs. To pay out this Muppet both parties need to to put their hands in their pockets and allocate funds to the dragons.
The steelers had no cash and the JV stagnated. Now we have a rich tight fish hole doing his son a favour by getting him a job and the JV is in exactly the same place. No funds will flow except the minimum. The Dragons made a huge mistake as many small non experienced organisations do when dealing with the larger end of town.
It was obvious when he tried to buy his share through selling advertising spots on his network. The JV needs to be disbanded before the club is destroyed and the ultimate play revealed being the complete ownership and move back to the Gong.
How long can the leagues part of the JV keep going if the revenue streams start to dry up
