Forget #sackgidley, this is the hashtag that matters. I've abided his rubbish for years, justified by occasional well rounded games, statistically gaudy defense and the promise that his frame held. He came to us as a rangy prospect, with the stamina to tackle all game, but the thought that he could develop into a 2 way beast.

Really though, that was years ago. He's been at the club 6-7 years now? Where has that gotten us? He's f**king old and if anything has regressed when he should be in his athletic prime.

Tonight he butchered 3 tries with the simple inability to offload the ball on the last. Each time he didn't even try! Combine that with his usual apathetic hit ups and hindmarshesque flopping, you have the comfortable worst player in one of the worst Knights performances in years.

I know the whole team was fairly inept, but jesus.

He was dire tonight. Butchered breaks, had a hand in gifting Brisbane their first real field position with his intercept, and I'm sure he was guilty of more than his fair share of penalties too.

He really offers absolutely nothing in attack especially out wide. Honestly if he was running full steam 2m out from the try line with only Chris Sandow in front of him I'd still back him not to score

I've learned to live with him not being able to bend the line. Being a blackhole on last tackle is another story. It's like he had money on the Broncos and was intentionally sabotaging us.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels this way. that man should never play first grade in the red and blue ever again. A DISGRACEFUL performance.

Ignore Pugz Fred, he is a serial troll

Im gonna play devils advocate here and put the blame for Houses performance tonight on the role he was given being completely unsuited to his skills as a footballer. Playing him wide has nearly always resulted in what we saw last night, going back years now.

When he plays in the middle it is a different story because he doesnt need to think about his outside men and his lanky frame actually makes him a more difficult put down in a 2-3 man tackle. Go have a look at last years KOTM thread and see how praised he is in the games he is played at lock or prop, you will be surprised.

I am astounded Wayne selected him out wide. He must have looked like a god in NSW Cup playing there over the last few weeks

I am absolutely amazed that Bennett would use house out wide. When we played in the 9's I stated that House shouldn't be in the team as the play always breaks down when he gets the ball and if he does try and pass, generally it's a shocker. How can a 29 year old seasoned football player be incapable of passing the ball? He's the Paul Marquet of 2014... I can handle him playing in the front row, but out wide he is insanely poor! Always has been. Wake up Wayne!!!

I hope we never see him in FG again no matter what position we put him in. The simple fact is the scoreline would have been alot different had he not been there and he's always been crap out wide.

Off to the sh*t heap with ya! (raiders/penrith)

I can handle the idea of him being a bench forward who plays in the middle of the field. I'm not saying he should be, but I can cope with that. Playing him anywhere else is moronic, as there is heaps of evidence over a long time that demonstrates that he can't pass the damn football!

At the moment our adequate forwards in order would be IMO:

1. Scott
2. Snowden
3. Mason
4. Simms
5. Cuthbertson/Tetavano

After the top 4-6 the forward pack definitely becomes weak. Rochow has been disapointing over the last few games. He played a good game at the start of the year, but he's fallen away a lot since then. Fa'alogo has been a bit disappointing. Houston - enough said. Jeremy Smith has been very disappointing for mine also. If we are going to start performing, then our forwards need to improve considerably.

Cuthbo is 2nd with daylight second.

I am still in disbelief that he got dropped after being our leading metre gainer from the bench, and basically our only source of 2nd phase play.

Oh, and after getting recalled he reels off a lazy 160m from 16 runs, 27 tackles and 3 offloads in a well beaten team.

One can only conclude that Cuthbo had an attitude/discipline issue that week. It is the only thing that makes sense

Cuthbo is second in front of Snowden and Mason? If so, you have to be having a lend.

Who's responsible for letting Boyd Cordner go btw? Imagine him on the fringes instead of House...
