Saints new stadium

Has this been approved, if so, why is it oval and not rectangular. I can see Saints averaging 15,000 with a modern stadium, as there seems to be increases in attendance when clubs get better facilities eg. Hull and Warrington.

the liverpool fans who are also st helens fans are not too impressed with having a 30,000 stadium and they dont mind having a stadium built in kirkby unless the Knowsley council approves it
