Saints season fizzles out

A lack of any props on the bench caused us to lose to Leeds tonight when the game was won after 60 minutes. If Saints had two more props in the squad the game would have been easy, shame that.

All that hoo haaring about Longy was pointless after all as we are now certain to stumble into fifth.

Danny 'Golden balls' McGuire copped a painful dead leg though

Roll on next season, Albert and Lyon score 50 a piece.

I wouldn't be writing Saints off, Long will lift the whole squad.

I thought James Graham was supposed to play though, he's a fantastic prospect.

We haven't seen Graham for months now, or Maurie Fa'asavalu. They both looked decent prospects then disappeared about two months ago.

Graham captained the England Academy over in Aus. Fa'asavalu seems to have disappeared off the planet though :?

To be fair to him, he has improved a lot through the year but there is still a lot of improving to do if he is to make it. He hits up well and his tackling technique is superb but he is still getting used to making the ten and his position in the defensive line.

It was always going to be a year of adjusting and learning the game for him IMO. He'd only left his country once (for the Worlc Cup), doesn't know the language well and it would've took him a while to settle down here as well as learn a completely new game from the perspective of a union forward.

Next year will be Mo's year :D

Never write off Saints...hopefully I will be in England next year and I want to see a game at Knowsley Road and an Arsenal game at Highbury before ideally farkin off to Ireland for a couple of weeks so they had better not let me down.
