Brown Maintains Winning Formula

St George Bank Dragons Coach Nathan Brown has today retained his winning formula for the final round match against the Roosters this Friday night at the Sydney Football Stadium.

Brown has named an unchanged starting line-up but has added Jamie Soward to an extended interchange bench as he looks to return from a back injury that has kept him sidelined since Round 23.
“We are happy with our last couple of weeks especially in attack but the Roosters are a quality side and we still need to improve in certain areas,” Brown said.

I hate the way Brown announces teams. Sick of so many players to omitted.

Its usually because players are carrying niggling injuries, not sure if they'll be fit on match day or not.

Odd to see Soward at No.19 though.

When interviewed a few weeks ago he really sounded like his injury was pretty bad and gave me the impression he will be out for a while, which has been the case.

I wouldn't be shocked if Soward started come friday night with Rogers reverting to the bench. No Brett Morris is surprising to me at least, as it doesn't state he is injured. While surprised at the very least it eliminates the headache of fitting Morris back into the team...for this week.
