Not really an upset as such as the top 3 sides can roll one another on any given day.

The play which led to Ling's goal being rubbed out is one thing which gives me the sh*ts about Aussie Rules. Yea it's been paid all year, but it's soft as butter.

Crap weather will make tonights game a lottery but still reckon the Pies will be too good.

Freo to upset the Hawks and the Swans too good for Carlton.

They are always a 50/50 call and if it were in Mooney's back it wouldn't have been paid, only the backs get those calls.

What annoyed me is that the ump allowed play on then when Ling kicked the goal he called it back. If it was a deadset freekick, he should have called it as he saw it, not calling it depends on what happens next.

Worst first half the Cats played all year I reckon, probably didn't deserve to win.

Was an obvious free, the way it has been interpreted this year. Mooney had the chance not to piledrive him into the ground in his back. He took the punt, he lost as the umpire was not stupid. Mind you it should have been 50 for Ling kicking it away.

if Moons were a back, he would have been awarded a free kick

Hardly, I actually love watching Geelong play.

Gwilt had no prior opportunity to dispose the ball, they have relaxed that rule a lot over the last say month and a half. If Mooney was a back he would not have got the free. It was a clear as day "in the back" decision.

Fact is I hope Geelong flog Collingwood in the prelim, nothing better than the Collywobbles losing!
