It's only the last three or four wins that really count Lowey... ;-)

But you can't take much away from your guys yet, they seem to be firing very well.

Very easy!

You're close to faultering mate. Things can turn around very fast. Even your own fans are saying you were poor and are in need of a loss to kick them into action on redvee.net.

Cheating Salford out of a win and smashing Wakey isn't impressive. St. Helens will lose one very soon, they're already starting to shake.

What do you class as shaky ?

Salford have won the likes of Warrington and only lost to Leeds by a small margin (twice).

Hooper should'nt of scored but we had a perfectly good try ruled out in the second half - it evens itself up! was we lucky because our defence made more tackles in the econd half than any other team in super league made in a whole match ?

I call that pretty fooking amazing!

Wakefield where good last night - the first time in months that they have kept their discipline, yet we power to a easy victory.

We struggled against Huddersfield away and with games against Bradfoord and Hull after that match - people predicted that we would lose very soon!

The out come ? we tickled the ars*s of both Bradford and Hull with two very easy victories.

Next up is Huddersfield away - hard place for Saints but i expect to be boosting oon this forum next week.

I think Saints main problem is that it currently is too easy for them.

The players looked very bored last night. The energy levels were right down, players were walking to scrums and not backing up when someone made a break. Lethargic was the word I would use, but it showed as they weren't doing the basics properly, they were cutting corners all the time.

When a team does finally challenge Saints properly we could easily come unstuck through not being ready for it. It is hard to suddenly up the tempo and play at your best when you've gone 12 rounds more or less in second gear.

Saints not really playing well at the moment, but it's always a sign of a good team that plays poorly and comes away with the win. A worry for the rest of SL, they say every team hits a rough patch....maybe Saints have already had theirs! Only time will tell.

You are in a sense because all you really do is sign players from other clubs, rather than grpwing your own.

Yes i know you have wellens, cunningham, graham, roby and ade gardner as regulars. That's five.

Do you really want me to list how amny hull and leeds have?

Your team does frigg all for the game in the uk and only thinks about themselves.

I mean, Lyon's off contract and all your fans talk about is signing the likes yeamen and toopi etc. Players from other clubs, rather than promoting young players such as ste tyrer.

Leeds lose bai, we promote smith.

If leeds lose walker and mathers in the off season? No problem, smith goes to his favoured position at fullback, williams comes onto the wing and ashely gibson takes walkers place. All top young players with potential. They are cheaper so we can spend money in ohter areas.

What would saints do?

Poach a player from another club, or get a kolpack. I mean look at some of your star players the likes of scultorpe and long you just signed from other teams.

Your team does frigg all for the game in the uk and if you hit a bad patch like wigan are currently experiencing can you imagine the attendances?

Huge rant over:D

Didn't Leeds buy Scott Donald to replace Bai?
Not sure exactly what Leeds are doing for the game in the UK either. Sure they have brought the kids through, but not seen many playing for other clubs. Isn't keeping them at Leeds, just looking out for Leeds? Signing Peacock! Who, other than Leeds did that help.

As for Long & Sculthorpe, don't think they were stars when Saints signed them. Bought as youngsters and brought through to Men of Steel. Didn't Leeds take Harris from the same club as Sculthorpe came from? Didn't Leeds take Senior from Sheffield during the season?

Pot calling Kettle I think.

Dowes and carvell came through the leeds academy. Calderwood did, Danny ward did I'm sure there are a few others. It's not just super league though, teams like wigan and leeds keep the game going down in the nl's with the amount of young talent from our academys that go there. The top team in the nl at the moment - hull kr, have 3 former leeds academy players.

You can't question what leeds are doing for the game when we have produced 9 current homegrown players that have appeared in gb's train on squad.

They'll be a couple more most likely in 2 years (gibson and smith).

How many have saints produced?

2? (wellens and cunningham)

You lose Bai and you sign a super Australian world beater called Scot Donald. You lose Barry Mcdermott to retirment and you sign another awesome Australian player called Mark O Neil. You then lose a Australian playmaker in Andrew Dunnemann but then sign a over the hill Aussie called Shane Millard.

Leeds fans calling others for signing players is funny as fook.

This is the same team that have constantly signed over the odds Australians or the best British talent knocking about e.g. Harris, Senior and more recently - Gareth Ellis.

This is also the same Leeds team that only 5 years ago would sign any over the hill Australian knocking about e.g. Mullins and Clyde.

We could say Oldham are the best fooking team in the world if we're giving examples of them producing class players to play for other teams - Sinfield, Sculthorpe, Joynt, Mcdermott, etc......

The jealousy towards Saints has truely been noted!!

Leeds have a good academy with the pick of local talent from areas such as Wakefield, Castleford, Dewsbury etc......

Was it very easy tonight?

We could'nt make it obvious otherwise Maurice and co at the JJB would have been in touch with the RFL.

We played a weak team and went easy on them, we scored right at the death to make sure our points difference was 6 points better off.
