Hey,

Just wanted to ask how Sam has been going?

I noticed he is now on a full time contract so yeah.

Thanks

He played a leading role in our fairly successful Flegg side that made the semis etc.

He's training with the full-time squad, and we've let go of a lot of our PL backline depth (stephenson, lennon, creary etc) so he looks set to be playing PL next year.

Past that, I can't tell you much. Maybe someone who takes more particular notice of the lower grades could help you out.

Nah, he is from Glen Innes in Northern NSW, my home town and club.. hence the interest.
Ok thanks.

That means Manly only have 5 local juniors in their fulltime squad.

A lot of clubs are like that Girvie now, and you also have to look at the demographic.

Very Union (private school) oriented upper class area.

Unfortunately we aren't the "Gong" for example that have a massive pool and area of land mass to draw local juniors from..

5 local juniors from a catchment of 250,000. We can't help it if the Peninsula doesn't have many people on it.
