I hope he does for various reasons with the main one being Australia benefits massively from all the kiwi defections.
Nothing better then players leaving the aussie team... They laugh at the international game... That's why I hate Origin... Every talk show they have all they talk about is Origin and Nrl nothing about promoting the international game...

It did get a mention on Sunday footy show with Matty johns for about 2 mins top and that was only for the betting odds. Yet they can talk about Nathan Cleary and Mitchell Pearce almost for a straight hour smh.

That's what they always do... I remember when Samoa played Tonga a few years ago and they invited both teams capt to the show and all they did was play guessing games on the show and talked nothing about the test match... They are so up themselves! They're too scared to lose there origin fans to international rugby league... I hate Origin cause that's one of the causes of why the international game never grows

I always make this point and it might sound absurd to some but origin has become to big and to successful to the point that nothing else matters. It’s a behemoth that is actually damaging the game.

How long before Kayln ponga gets bored and wants to see what the rest of the world has to offer playing union for the all blacks or wallabies in cities like London, Paris, Rome, Chicago and Buenos Aires??

Its wrong to blame Origin. It is club footy that is at fault here....

Origin is just the one rep game that snuck through and became too successful to end. Now that the club bosses are in control, they will never let international foot grow but they are forced to tolerate Origin.

To me, Origin is actually the beacon of hope for rep football in Australia. It is the one and only piece of evidence that rep football has more potential than club football. Without it, the clubs would prevent any rep football and then say that no one wants it so we should just focus on the clubs.

That Samoan team is the best one I’ve seen from them, they have just as much potential as the Tongans . I actually think it’s better balanced then Tonga and Fiji, but the other 2 nations have better superstars

Absolutely agree man... The advantage Samoa has over both teams is halves... Samoa has more depth... Tonga has a monster forward pack and Fiji has stars in the wings and kikau in the forwards... If Samoa could get Josh Papalii, Payne Haas, and RTS man they'll be hard to stop... Anything can happen from now and the world Cup and Taumalolo is the big reason for that... Hopefully Taupau does the same for samoa

Another player Jamayne Isaako is another to change his alliance after Taupau to join Samoa... Don't know if he was a chance to make the final squad... But raiders coach Stuart denied Rapana and Tapine for the kiwi squad because of "injury"

Yep agreed. Samoa are 2 to 3 superstars away from doing what Tonga have done. If Fiji had halves they would be a great team too.

Man this next World Cup might be hot, I think at least 6 genuine good teams, with a few decent ones in the next, and a lot more countries involved in general, I really think if we continue to build brighter days ahead for the international game

I kind of agree but only if the island guys defect from Australia otherwise they’ll smash everybody they play unless we just totally ignore Australia at international level and nobody plays them. lol!!!

Origin for the aussies is the pinnacle of there sport... If you ask any of them they would rather play origin over rep footy any day... If there was no origin nrl clubs would still interfere with players playing rep footy and they still do it now... For example Stuart for the Raiders... They we're worse in the past... The only reason they're not so much now is because there's more international footy now and players actually wanna play in them... The only way for the aussies to take the game seriously is for the kiwis, Tonga, Fiji, and Samoa to beat them regularly and that ain't gonna happen anytime soon lol
