In today's telegraph said that he is now in "limbo" about a contract for next season.. it goes on to say he rejected the tigers offer at first but still doesn't know what melborune are goign to do with him now that they are set to sign chan from parra.. and he can't come to tigers because we picked up payten..
well done sargent perfectly good oppurtunity thrown away..

Sure he could have jumped straight away but obviously he is happy at Melbourne and dosn't want to leave (signs of loyalty) thats why he rejected our offer.

Who knows what will happen to him maybe because we where the only sydney club that wanted him he could still end up at the club on a reduce offer?
