Saturday's ratings: the WINNER is LEAGUE

Yes the NRL have taken a backward step AGAIN to the AFL. The game should've been played at Telstra which could have drawn a huge crowd. And it should've been played Saturday arvo up against the AFL GF which it would've murdered in ratings and given the AFL bosses something to think about.

Time to take a step forward and be a little aggresive David.

The minore premier always gets the larger venue and seeing as though no preliminary final had ever sold out before, the NRL were right by holding tonights game at Aussie Stadium IMO. They will have 40k and a wicked atmosphere but had they moved the game to Tesltra, they may have got 50k but the atmoshere wouldn't have been as good. A (smaller) full stadium looks much better IMO.

I actually have it in the SMH that the League opened at well over 500 thousand and the AFL at just 105 thousand. That must be dissapointing for a group that thought they would cahllenge the League in the ratings war.
