I knew brook would be the first to rub it in our noses. ;-)

We've been in freefall since the loss to Norths. If we don't win this week we can say goodbye to the 8.

The game was postponed due to weather at the entrance, I did claim a forfeit but no such luck.

Postponed due to bad weather? There better have been sheets of roofing tin flying round - what a sook idea. What are we? R.U. or something?

It wasn't so long ago that there had never been a top-grade Sydney game cancelled for bad weather.

It strikes me you needn't look much further than that for the indications our game was getting too soft.

I'm pretty sure the ground that was flooded last year when the Jets played on the coast was Erina Oval.
Though all the Coast clubs really do need work on their playing surfaces. The facilities at these venues are generally not bad, I havent seen Erina, its just the playing surface thats below par.
There is no reason that the big 3 have these poor surfaces as they all have signifigant leagues club backing.

A Newtown identity made a very good point to me one day. The Central Coast has undergone massive residential expansion in the past couple of decades. Unfortunately, amentities have not expanded at the corresponding rate. It is a problem that you encounter in many new residential areas. Look at public transport out west!

Anyway, this could well explain the dilemma on the Central Coast and why their grounds are not up to scratch.
