I think English RL need to find out his intentions on who he is eligible for in International footy, he represented England youth but I think his father is Samoan or Kiwi.

Even at this early stage he looks like he could make a huge impact in SL and potentially for England RL, good size, good footwork and only 19yo.

Sounds like Andre is eligible for both Samoa and New Zealand.

Fifteen minutes of google research reveals his father is Lokeni Savelio, a Samoan-New Zealander who was signed by Salford from Hutt Valley, New Zealand, in 1995. He represented Western Samoa (as it then was) in 1994 on a tour of New Zealand (but apparently didn't play any test matches against the Kiwis). Lokeni went on to play for Widnes, Halifax, and Workington Town. Currently lives in Warrington.

If he lives up to his potential I guess we can expect NSW or Qld to insist he swears alegiance to Australia before offering him the chance to play SoO

im tempted to say let samoa have him cos its not worth the whinging it'll cause selecting him for england even though its 100% legal

The main reason I brought this up was because I seem to recall him having a fallout with the England youth coaches a few years back and wondered if it pushed him away from the England setup, he was also very close to Soliola, Manu & Mosoe at Saints which could influence him.
