Yeah he speaks very well. Those f**king journos that tried to start shit by getting him to say something bad about his old club need to pull their heads in. Smug merkins.

Very excited to see what this guy will bring for us in 2019. He will be a fantastic signing both on and off the field. Kids will love him, maybe even more than txta loves Chad

He did give their CEO and Coach a little swipe, which is fair enough too.

“I know deep down that I gave it a crack,” Johnson said. “Regardless of what the CEO says, who has been there a year or two, it dates back a lot longer than me.

“I’ve been there eight years and had six coaches. So the sixth coach didn’t like me. So what? You know what I mean? I rode the tough time, I gave it a crack. I tried to keep fans engaged in their seats, I tried to play a style of footy that was going to get kids excited every week. I know that, my family knows that and the people who know me know that, which is why I can say no, it doesn’t really affect me.”

I liked when they asked him about the warriors saying he isnt worth the money, his reply was something like well theyre the ones that offered to pay me that amount in the first place.

Great interview by SJ, but the journo's here is a chance to really embrace SJ, but they would prefer him to rip into Warriors, and what would that do, give them some more click bait yes, attract more fans no, lose more probably another few.

The journo's should be working to grow the bloody game, without the game they would not be employed, they would be at centrelink, how about they get good news out there, good publicity draws fans in.

Bad publicity of any club, what it does is gives the other 15 clubs fans a short laugh thats it, but it gives fans another reason to turn off, and thats what happens each year more turn off, so how about being positive in your reports talk the game up
