Could things get any worse? Hopefully we can address these things for next season (cause of injuries, treatment etc), when we will have a much better squad.

interesting situation were in, maybe Sonny getting injured will hopefully make his manager STFU. Hopefully they blood Kite, now that we've lost two front-rowers. The experience he gets now could pay off next season.

Just saw on Fox Sports News that Warburton was training with the team a long with Joe Williams at half back. Holdsworth in grave doubt and boring mediocre Warburton set to come in for SBW. LOL!!

If he is crap then I am not sure what word to use for the other alternatives.
Warburton is usually one of our best in NSW Cup

Does SBW still want more money? If ESL clubs are prepared to pay ₤800,000 for him (AUD $1,900,000) per season, I say LOL.

i don't think they've ever been prepared to pay that much. I say at most they'd pay 500 000 pounds. I mean, isn't the salary cap something like 2 million over there. I'd love to see Groom getting another chance at halves, he showed some good signs in his debut game.

Who's coming in for hickey and armit then? Koup might get elevated to starting line up for SBW then Warbo onto the bench?

It is anyones guess really. Gary Warbuton and Lorenzo Ma'au are in whilst Joe Williams and Charlie Leaano are almost certain to debut for the Dogs. Here is my guess...

1 Nick Youngquest
2 Hazem El Masri
3 Daryl Millard
4 Tim Winitana
5 Heka Nanai
6 Ben Roberts
7 Joe Williams
8 Brad Morrin
9 Corey Hughes
10 Lorenzo Ma'afu
11 Nick Kouparitsas
12 Andrew Ryan
13 Reni Maitua

14 Gary Warbuton
15 Michael Sullivan
16 Charlie Leaeno
17 Le Te Maari

Ma'afu is good IMO. Vewry aggresive, plays with heart. He got 10 minutes in his debut agains Penrith but makde over 10 tackles and plenty of meters from just a few runs. Good player who should do well.

Whilst Warburton has been good in NSW Cup, in FG he was average. Really unimpressed with him bar his defence, which was pretty good.

Ma'afu is very small but plays hard. A workhorse. As B4L stated he is a hard working backrower who plays above his size. Both he and Warburton rip it up in NSW Cup. Not sure if they are good enough for FG. Hopefully they do well.

If I were to get one for a VRL competition, who would you recommend out of Leano, Warbo, Ma'afu and Koup?

I am guessing who ever plays more minutes.

Watching Malcolm Leaeno in NSW Cup he tends to drop the ball at the very sight of the defensive line. So I am not sure he will have much of an impact at NRL level.

Warbuton has played a couple games and has not shone.

Ma'afu had a high work rate in very limited time.

If Ma'afu plays a lot of minutes, he could possibly score high for you. I doubt that he will play long though.

If Koups plays like we know he can then it is him without a doubt. He has been a little off form though.

Hope this helps!
