When Greig and Benaud and Lawry were regulars Mark Nicholas gave me the shits because he was annoying and shit in comparison. Compared to Warne and Slater and Brayshaw and Lee, Nicholas is brilliant. He still has an annoying way of saying things but you see he actually watches cricket. He talks about what the Indians have done in other series. He knows about their 1st class histories. He knows what is going on in other parts of the world as we speak. While Warne goes on about cherries and Healy about metatarsals and Brayshaw about big humans.

I actually want more Nicholas. Never thought I'd say that before.

I don't mind Nicholas, he breaks up the Australian bias a little. We need more knowledgeable foreign commentators IMO, give a few different opinions instead of the typical Aussie boys' club shit that we are fed every summer now.

Don't think this pitch has been as bad as everyone is saying. Yeah its flat for sure, but not every ball has been gun barrell straight even with the old ball. The odd one has bounced from our pacemen. India's attack is just unbelievably shit. Kumar was bowling at 105-110 kph in Australia's innings.
