Scomo saving me

I clearly stated that the crash wasn't caused by fund injections ,yet you implied I did.

I spelt out how the crash occurred ,and how Govts putting extra money in the system ,effects the share market. You can't answer why our share market has taken a hit and been volatile. You can't understand that many Super funds have exposure to the share market.
My fund took a big hit in 2008/9 as it has done in 2020.I know it doesn't sink in.I have. batter Idea about my fund ,than you do Einstein.

I'm sorry I hurt your feelings when I called you stupid.I really thought you already knew.

$250 a week is a nominal figure ,any Govt or opposition member would understand you can't live in luxury on it.
It's never enough for the out of work, which is understandable.
NICE EDIT Taips Peter used to criticize my editor g but I did try to stop it once a reply had come to original post. I think that's reasonable

Hi Taips! Sorry to hear about your big loss in GFC I let bank look after most of mine .I mean get shit rate but not backwards and I bought a bit. then ....Not trusting bank or whole setup ...,so dependant on export of raw material. import of cheap manufactured goods ..l. so I got back into primary production. You know that occupation you know all about having spent HOLIDAYS on relatives farms.

I get on with life Battered one.Have lost money prior ,but that's free enterprise for you.The good with the bad.
I have a good relationship with my Bank, worked in one for 8 years ,when they were well respected organisations.
Anycase life is the most important thing now.ie existence with all the sh*t going on.

Well we priced ourselves out of car manufacturing, despite providing local car manufacturers with hundreds of millions in subsidies.
Our expertise is in the export of raw materials and food, our labour costs are too prohibitive for much manufacture.
So I apparently have to live on a farm to understand the effect of drought, bushfires, floods, hail, loans to be serviced, export markets etc..I mean Tv,radio, print media and interviews can't convey facts to people.

I don't have to experience COVID-19 to know the effects.

Priced ourselves out Yes in some respects ,wages and conditions... yet take a look at wages and conditions of those you want Australians to compete with.? Would you like to work under those conditions? Australians tried to competed were stymied in many cases by ridiculous standards which were more about consistent then best practices. anyway that's a little bit

Yeah.

I bet the average Aussie would be thrilled to work in a sweat shop.

I mean, I’d be happy for other Aussies to do it but I wouldn’t do it myself.

I’m better than most people though so I doubt I’d have to.

The arrogance of thinking you understand farming and farmers is matched by your audationous in voicing such arrogance ... but it is far exceeded by your stupidity in actually believing it .

The last thing I would want to do ,is work in a Bangladeshi sweat shop for SFA and live in a crowded slum.Or assemble autos in Thailand.Every shirt I own is made in China.
TBH you can blame materialism in the west,(the consumer society) since the industrial revolution and the latest electrical appliances, cars. People wanted the latest this and that, needed the dosh to get them and demanded higher incomes to be able to buy them.
And these mass produced products had a built in planned life span lasting X number of years, so one had to replace it a few years down the line.
The cost of hospital operations, using the most expensive technology,I've should know I've just been on the receiving end.
You can blame the physical size of our country, transport costs are ridiculous. And at times militant unions ,not the moderate ones.

What we are good at is rural production given the right weather conditions, less Govt red tape. That melad is where we're headed.

Farming is an evolving thing .At one time not long ago farmers were at the forefront of productivity to make better life for all .Things change and farming has changed. Farmers are still farmers and it is a lifestyle. I posted here once about how I cashed in super sold house and bought a farm . Got more likes than ever . guess city boys thought it was tree change bull shit. No I was returning to what I am . A farmer.
